LoPro Tray Assembly

 

Locate Storage Tray parts:

(1) Tray Bottom: 1/4" X 15 9/16" X L plywood

(1) Back Rail: 1 1/16" X 1 1/16" X L
(1) Front Rail: 1 1/16" X 1 1/16" X L (with threaded steel bushing)

(2) Tray Slides: 1 1/16" X 1 1/16" X 15 1/8" (shaped like the letter "L")

(2) 1/4"  X 16 1/2" Tie Rods (threaded rod)

(2) 1/4" flanged nuts
(2) 1/4" hex jam nuts
(2) 3/4" wood plugs

(2) Desk Sides: 1 1/8" X 1 1/4" X 25 1/2" (attached to the legs of the desk, shaped like the Letter "U")
 

Thread (2) 1/4" hex jam nuts onto ends of (2) Tie Rods about 1/2". Do not use any of the (2) flanged nuts for this step.

 

 

 

                                             1/4" Tie Rod

                                       1/4" hex jam nut

Thread ends of (2) Tie Rods with Nuts into threaded metal bushings in Front Rail as shown.

The end of Tie Rod should be flush with the top surface of the metal bushing

Slide 7/16" socket over Tie Rod

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Turn socket with pliers to tighten nut & anchor Tie Rods into the Front Rail

Stand Front Rail  / Tie Rod assembly up.

Drop Tray Bottom into slot in Tray Front

Note: groove in plywood provides clearance for Tie Rod

 

 

 

 

Drop Rear Rail into place as shown
Thread (2) flanged nuts onto (2) Tie Rods a few turns.
Slide Tray Slides between Front and Rear Rail.

Note how "L" shaped Tray Slides are oriented.

Tighten flanged nuts
Install wood plugs into holes in front rail

 

Install Desk Slides onto Legs of desk, underneath Monitor Shelf. Slide Tray in.
