In celebration of the 100th anniversary of man's first powered flight, we named our newest desk after the Wright Brothers airplane: The Wright Flyer.

Like the Wright Brother's airplane, our ergonomic computer desk is built from solid  hard wood.

The Wright Brothers use of hard wood to build their airplane was logical. Hard wood has a superior strength to weight ratio with unsurpassed shock resistance: ideal characteristics for the heavy duty demands of powered flight. 

We chose hard wood for the same reason : Superior strength with an economy of materials. Less weight, less cost, no compromise in strength and durability.  

Like all of our desks, the Flyer, with no additional equipment, has full ergonomic workstation functionality. The natural finished oak woods used yield a lighter, less obtrusive look that works well in modern or traditional rooms.
